Manitoba uses iPads to deliver speech therapy

Joiner named new Stroke Director

Canadian Stroke Congress early-bird registration opens June 1

Early-bird registration for the 2012 Canadian Stroke Congress in Calgary opens June 1 and will be available until August 3. CSN’s Patrice Lindsay revisits Saskatchewan and Manitoba

Travel awards to be announced this month

Those receiving a CSN travel awards to present their research at international and national meetings and conferences will be notified on May 15. The CSN is currently reviewing the 34 applications. Fifteen travel awards will be handed out. Each award is worth a maximum value of $1500. The competition was open to graduate students and post-doctoral fellows.

NCE reporting to begin May 9

2012 Canadian Stroke Congress sees 11-per-cent increase in abstracts

Eleven-per-cent more abstracts were submitted to the 2012 Canadian Stroke Congress compared to last year. The abstract submission site is now closed. The Congress Program Committee, led by Congress Co-Chairs Dr. Michael Hill and Dr. Mark Bayley, are currently reviewing the submissions.
